I recently undertook a reccy for the Portugal tour we’re running in October this year. WOW what an amazing country.
The roads were quiet and in fantastic condition. The countryside outstanding.
From the Spanish border in the north, I travelled down the quiet eastern side of the country, unearthing beautiful scenery, and incredible places to stay, rich in history. Three days in the mountains of the north, then four days of undulating countryside, making for brilliant cycling, under those clear blue skies.
This is going to be a superb tour. 7 days cycling through the most amazing country.
