Cycle through the town of Ronda, and look down from the stone bridge into the deep El Tajo gorge. See the beauty and magnificence of Granada, then over mountains and through a desert.
Andalucia is a region of contrasts: ancient cities and deserts, amazing beaches along the Costa del Sol and Costa de la Luz and the Sierra Nevada mountain range where the highest mountain in Spain is found. It is located at the south of the Iberian Peninsula and is the southernmost point of Europe.
Andalusia is one of the warmest regions anywhere in Europe. It has a warm, Mediterranean climate with dry, hot summers and mild winters with infrequent precipitation, and LONG hours of sunshine.
So PERFECT to finish your summer of cycling. 500 fascinating miles, through incredible countryside, in 7 days.
We call it C2C – Cadiz to Cartagena. A tour though one of the most historically fascinating areas of Europe.

Starting off from close to Cadiz, we cycle east, up into the beautiful mountains of the Sierra de Grazalema, staying deep in these mountains at Ubrique. Then cycling through Ronda and onto Antequera, and then Granada. Staying in our typical unique style of accommodation, including renovated Monasteries and historic buildings. After Granada, its the mighty Sierra Nevada hills, where we climb to over 6,500 ft high, but what a superb descent ! Onward through the desert before cycling down near to the coastline, and into Cartagena. Another amazing part of the world.
WE TRANSPORT YOUR BIKE IN A CUSTOMISED VAN SPECIALLY TRANSFORMED TO SAFELY CARRY YOUR PRIZED POSSESSION !
We recommend a road bike with 25 to 28 mm tyres. Mountain bikes are NOT suitable. The most important thing is that the bike functions properly and that you are comfortable riding it. You should make sure that your bike has suitable gears as there are some steep hills on parts of the route. You should also make sure that you are able to carry some spare food and extra clothing with you on the bike.
We believe your tour experience will be enhanced if you are able to ride a bike you are comfortable and familiar with and, with that in mind, we will transport your bike to and from the start/finish of a tour.
Our support vehicles are adapted to carry bikes in a safe and secure manner which gives you the peace of mind that you will be ready to get cycling on day one without any major rebuilding of bikes required. Your bike can be collected and delivered back to your door for £30 each way.
If you would prefer, we can arrange bike hire.
You will require a passport to visit Spain
You are also required to have travel insurance for the duration of the holiday.
The weather in Spain is normally exactly what you expect. Warm and sunny!
